Cockapoo Puppy Size
The average adult male puppy is approximately 2 years old. Adult female puppies are usually between 1 year and 3 years old.
There are some breeds which have a longer life span than others, but these two types of dogs tend to live longest. These breeds include: Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd Dog, Boxer and Rottweiler.
These breeds are known to grow up to be around 5 feet tall and weigh anywhere from 30 pounds all the way up to 60 pounds. These dogs do not require any special care or attention beyond basic obedience training.
They will happily follow your commands, but they won’t necessarily respond well if you try to train them with tricks or games. These types of dogs need regular exercise and mental stimulation in order for their minds to remain sharp enough so that they don’t become bored easily.
Cockapoos love to play and enjoy many different kinds of games. Some of the most popular games are fetch, tug of war, hide and seek, chase and race, agility and flyball.
These dogs also like to run around outside playing with other pets such as cats or small birds. They may even go out into the backyard to hunt for worms or bugs.
Cockapoos can be trained to follow basic commands such as sit, stay, heel and lay down. If you wish to teach your dog more complicated tricks then you will need to dedicate a lot of time to the training process.
These dogs are very intelligent and they enjoy having a job to do, so they will be happy to learn whatever you wish them to learn as long as you keep the training interesting and fun. Most people choose to teach their dogs to find and retrieve things such as keys or slippers, or they may teach their dogs to perform tricks such as rolling over or shaking hands.
The best way to train your dog is by combining a mixture of positive reinforcement along with some gentle discipline. For instance, if you catch your dog doing something good then you can give it a treat as a reward, but if it does something bad then you must immediately tell it “no” in a firm voice.
By doing this you teach your dog that good behavior is rewarded and bad behavior is not accepted. However, yelling or hitting the dog will simply cause it to be afraid of you rather than teach it anything.
When getting a dog it is best if you are able to spend a lot of time with it, at least the first couple of years of its life.
