Labradoodle Colors – The Amazing Shades of Doodle Dog

Labradoodles are one of the most popular dog breeds in the world. They have been bred since their birth to perform various tasks such as hunting, guarding, herding, tracking and other tasks. Labradoodles are known for being intelligent dogs with a strong sense of loyalty and love for humans. They are very loyal and protective of their human family members. Their intelligence makes them good guard dogs, but they are not necessarily trained to hunt or work in a specific field. Some labs do well in certain jobs, but many prefer working outdoors because it allows them to get out of the house more often. There are two main types of labrador: Standard Labradors and Parchment Labs . Standard Labradors are the most common type of labrador. These dogs were originally bred to be hunters and guards. Many standard labradors are used for hunting, police work, search and rescue, tracking and guarding livestock. Because of their hardy nature these dogs make excellent pets too. Most standard labradors live up to 20 years in age. Parchment Labs are another breed of Labrador that was developed specifically for law enforcement purposes. These labradors are bred to have a more cautious nature and are not suited for searching or guarding livestock. Parchment labs were first bred in the 90s and since their creation they have been used by law enforcement in drug busts, finding lost children and objects, and other important work. Parchment labs also make obedient guard dogs and great search and rescue dogs. These dogs are slightly taller than most labs and have longer noses and thinner jaws. They are very intelligent dogs and are easy to train, but their cautious nature means they should not be left unsupervised with children. These dogs can live up to 18 years in age if given proper exercise and care.

Labradors are one of the few dog breeds that come in three different sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. The size of the dog depends on how large the parents are. Labs also come in three different coat colors: Yellow, Black, and Chocolate.

The color of the labrador’s coat has no impact on intelligence or attitude. A yellow lab can be just as intelligent as a Black lab. The only difference is their fur color. The color of a lab’s fur can change throughout its life. Some Labs gain a darker or lighter hue to their fur as they grow old.

Labradors are a popular choice for families because of their friendly and playful nature. They are known as the “Family dog”. They get along well with other dogs and animals, but they should not be left unsupervised with smaller animals because some labs like to chase small creatures.

These dogs are excellent swimmers and have strong noses which makes them ideal for tracking and search and rescue missions.

Linda walked into the office with the files of the new dogs that would be arriving soon. “Chris, we’re going to have some new dogs arriving soon. I got their files right here.

There should be 5 or 6 of them coming within the next couple days. Let’s go over their files to see which ones we should pick.”

She hands you a binder full of papers and you begin looking through them. After going through all of their files you realize that most of the dogs are standard black labs, but you also note some other breeds mixed in.

“That’s a pretty good selection of dogs, although I wish we could get some of those new Yellow Labradors they have over at the Wilberforce Kennel. They’re supposed to be really smart.”

At this point Linda rolls her eyes. “I still don’t know why we need to spend so much money on these dogs. I think those cheap standard black labs you ordered are just as good as any of these dogs.”

“Linda, we’ve been through this before. We’re supposed to be training these dogs to become guides for the blind. Not all of our users are going to be able to handle a large dog, so having a few small dogs around would make things easier for them.”

“I still say we don’t need to spend the money, those black labs you ordered are just as good for our purposes. I mean look at this, the gold labs are more than double the price of the black labs we ordered!””Yes, and those Black labs are twice as expensive because they’re half gold lab.

The price difference is because they have some extra training in terms of being around other people and being guide dogs in general. If we get the gold labs, we won’t need to spend any more money training them, which will save us a lot of money in the long run.”

“Well I still say we shouldn’t be spending so much money on these dogs. Who knows if this program is going to be successful anyway.” Linda says while starting to get frustrated.

“All right Linda, I think we should leave it here.
