Pom Pom Life Expectancy:

The average life span of a pom pom is 10 years. However, it varies from one individual to another. There are some factors which affect the length of their lives such as age, breed, environment and nutrition.

Some breeds like the dachshund or miniature schnauzer live longer than others. A few breeds like the Boston terrier or chihuahua have shorter lifespans than other breeds.

There are different types of pom poms. They include the standard pom pom, miniature pom pom, toy pom pom and show dog. The standard or ordinary size is usually the smallest size.

Miniature and toy sizes are larger than normal sized dogs while show dogs are bigger than regular sized dogs. These smaller breeds tend to live longer because they need less exercise compared to their larger counterparts.

Pom poms reach maturity at around three years old. This means that most pom poms will die before they are ten years old. Some pom poms may live up to fifteen years.

This shows that even though these animals are small, they still have a strong mind and soul. Their longevity is due to their love for humans and their ability to learn new things easily.
